The Business

Small Business Solutions Ltd, SBS, is a modern, part virtual company set up to meet the needs of small and medium sized businesses who want profitable growth.

SBS provides a complementary service to the government backed Small Business Service and Business Link and in some cases can access subsidies from them to support the work we do.

We work with a number of associates with specialist and generalist skills.

“Where can I go to get help locally about A to Z where I will not be ripped off?"

The SBS Ltd directory (in development) initially aims to be a One Stop Shop centred on business planning, legal advice, accountancy and business management but later Will cover a complete A to Z of regularly required business services. The services offered by preferred suppliers are not designed to be the cheapest on offer but will always provide value for money.

The Directory is targeted at both start up and existing businesses to provide them with the services they need to become established, expand and grow.In general we will offer clients a local choice of 3 possible service providers.

The three businesses under each entry include a small, medium and slightly larger company. Each business listed will have been in operation at least 6 months. By offering 3 different sizes of operation a client can pick what they consider appropriate. In many cases small will pick small, but the option is there to pick larger. Price is likely to be related to size and experience. Larger clients may wish to go to smaller providers for better value or a more personal service.

In general, supplier businesses will not include local branches of national organisations, but where relevant details will be provided about these national organisations. 

To be a preferred supplier business (affiliate) for SBS Ltd a company has to be established, honourable, competent, offer value for money and be ready to guarantee all work it does. As an additional safeguard all formal complaints that are upheld will result in a full refund of any fees paid.
